1. INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Koding Akademi (“we”, “our”, or “us”). We are an education platform providing coding, robotics, and digital skills training programs, offered both online and offline (“Services”).

By accessing our website at https://lms.kodingakademi.id, registering for an account, joining a class, or using our Services in any way, you (“user”, “student”, or “participant”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using our website or services.

2. GENERAL CONDITIONS

  1. These Terms apply to all users of our Services, including students, parents or guardians, instructors, partners, and visitors.
  2. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate Services to anyone, at any time, for any reason, at our sole discretion.
  3. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our Services—whether online or offline—without prior notice.
  4. Additional terms may apply for specific programs such as bootcamps, workshops, or in-person robotics classes, which will be communicated separately.

3. REGISTRATION AND USER ACCOUNTS

  1. To access certain courses or features, users must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and up‑to‑date information.
  2. Users are responsible for all activities performed under their accounts, including maintaining the confidentiality of their passwords.
  3. If you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account, you must immediately contact us at kodingakademi.id@gmail.com.
  4. For users under 18 years of age, registration or participation in our programs must be approved by a parent or guardian.

4. USE OF SERVICES

  1. Our Services are intended solely for personal learning and skill development purposes and may not be used for commercial or unlawful activities.
  2. Users agree not to:
    • Engage in or facilitate any illegal or harmful activities.
    • Record, reproduce, sell, or distribute learning materials without prior written consent.
    • Damage or misuse facilities or robotics equipment during offline sessions.
    • Upload or transmit viruses or any malicious software.
  3. Violation of these terms may result in permanent suspension of the user’s account, cancellation of enrollment, and/or legal action.

5. LEARNING MATERIALS AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  1. All course materials, including videos, text, modules, robotics projects, source code, and documentation, are the intellectual property of Koding Akademi or its content licensors.
  2. Users are granted a limited, non‑transferable, non‑commercial license to access and use the materials solely for their personal education.
  3. Users may not reproduce, sell, or redistribute any course content without our explicit written permission.
  4. Projects or programming work created by students during the learning process remain the property of the students; however, all underlying curricula and teaching materials remain the property of Koding Akademi.

6. PAYMENTS AND BILLING (IF APPLICABLE)

  1. Fees for courses, programs, or workshops must be paid according to the applicable pricing and payment terms.
  2. All fees and prices are subject to change at any time without prior notice.
  3. Payments may be made through bank transfer, credit card, digital wallet, or other official methods accepted by us.
  4. In the event of late payment or non‑compliance, access to materials or classes may be temporarily suspended.
  5. Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy, available upon request or via our website.

7. PRIVACY POLICY

By using our Services, you also agree to our Privacy Policy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information for both online and offline activities.

8. DISCLAIMER

Koding Akademi, including its instructors, staff, and partners, shall not be liable for:

  • Data loss, hardware damage, or personal injury caused by improper use of robotics equipment.
  • Internet connectivity issues, hardware malfunctions, or delayed access to content.
  • Business, financial, or personal losses resulting from use of our materials or Services.

10. CHANGES TO TERMS OF SERVICE

We may update or revise these Terms of Service from time to time at our discretion. Updates will be posted on our website or communicated via email. Continued use of our Services after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. TERMINATION

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Any payment obligations or legal responsibilities incurred prior to termination will remain valid afterward.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. In case of any disputes, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through discussion (amicable settlement). Failing that, disputes will be resolved according to applicable Indonesian legal procedures.
